Epics DAO, operated by ELSOUL LABO B.V. (Headquarters: Amsterdam, the Netherlands; CEO: Fumitake Kawasaki), has fully released all grass-attribute card designs for the Alpha version of the Solana-based NFT card game “Buidlers Guild.”
This release includes the complete set of grass-attribute cards, covering Magic cards, Equipment and Magical Tool cards, and Monster cards. All released designs are now reflected on the official Buidlers Guild NFT card list page.

About the Full Release of Grass-Attribute Card Designs

Grass-attribute cards represent one of the core attribute categories within the Buidlers Guild design framework.
With this release, the entire lineup of grass-attribute cards can now be viewed in a comprehensive and unified manner.
Individual card abilities, effects, and structural roles can be reviewed through both the list view and detailed card view on the card list page. This announcement does not focus on individual card mechanics, but instead highlights the overall structure and design philosophy of the project.

Structural Challenges Addressed by Epics DAO

Epics DAO is confronting a structural reality in which open-source software, despite being indispensable as a foundation of modern technology and society, remains difficult to sustain over the long term.
This instability is not caused by a lack of value or significance. Substantial work and critical contributions are continuously made, yet they often remain difficult to visualize, resulting in fragmented recognition and inconsistent participation.
When engagement cannot be sustained, technical debt and maintenance burdens accumulate, ultimately undermining the sustainability of the underlying infrastructure itself. Epics DAO approaches this cycle as a structural issue that must be addressed at its root.

Design Philosophy of Buidlers Guild

Buidlers Guild is designed as a concrete implementation that responds to these structural challenges.
In a competitive card game, deck strength only emerges through the combination of different card types, such as Magic, Equipment and Tools, and Monsters. No single category is sufficient on its own; strategy is formed only when distinct roles complement one another.
The three roles within Buidlers Guild — Dev, Degen, and Investor — are intentionally aligned with this card structure.
Each role differs in nature and motivation, yet the system cannot function if any one of them is missing.
Cards are not distributed merely as rewards or speculative assets. They function as structural elements that demonstrate how different roles interact and gain meaning through combination. Just as a deck only becomes viable when Magic, Equipment and Tools, and Monsters work together, Dev, Degen, and Investor roles are likewise interdependent.
By embodying these relationships as cards, the interactions between roles become visible as structure rather than explanation. Buidlers Guild is designed from the outset with this relational framework as a foundational premise.
